It's HOT all right
While Elana James and the Hot Club may be putting out some terrific music in 2008, this show from 1999 reveals more male dominated vocals and has a nice, different feel than current shows. Still pretty damn hot.
I wonder if Elana remembers meeting my wife and I at the Cooperstown Dylan show in '06, as we suggested that she get her shows up on the Archive, something she and the band had never heard of before. Not that I'd like to take any credit for the idea, but it sure has brought us some great music. Music that Django would be proud of.
